Refund and Cancellation Policy
Understanding our fee structure and refund eligibility

Important Note: Please read this policy carefully before making any payments to Sanskar International School. All fees once paid are non-refundable except as explicitly stated in this policy.
- 1. Overview
This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all fee payments made to Sanskar International School, including but not limited to admission fees, tuition fees, activity fees, transportation fees, and any other charges. The policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be granted and the process for cancellation of admissions or services.
- 2. Definitions
Admission Fee: One-time, non-refundable fee paid at the time of admission.
Tuition Fee: Monthly/Quarterly/Half-yearly/Annual fee for academic instruction.
Transportation Fee: Fee for school bus/van services (if applicable)
Activity Fee: Fee for extracurricular activities and events.
Caution Money/Deposit: Refundable security deposit (if applicable).
- 3. Cancellation of Admission
- 3.1 Before Commencement of Academic Session
Time of Cancellation Refund Eligibility
Within 7 days of admission confirmation Full refund of tuition fee (Admission fee non-refundable)
8-30 days before session start 75% refund of tuition fee
31-60 days before session start 50% refund of tuition fee
More than 60 days before session start 25% refund of tuition fee
- 3.2 After Commencement of Academic Session
Within first month: 50% refund of tuition fee for the remaining quarters (if paid annually) subject to deduction of dues.
After first month: No refund of tuition fee for the current quarter/term.
Mid-term withdrawal: No refund for the current term; pro-rata refund for subsequent terms may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- 4. Fee Refund Policy by Fee Type
- 4.1 Admission Fee
Status: NON-REFUNDABLE under any circumstances. This fee secures the seat and covers administrative costs.
- 4.2 Tuition Fee
Status: Partially refundable as per the cancellation timeline mentioned in Section 3.
- 4.3 Transportation Fee (if applicable)
Cancellation before service starts: Full refund
Cancellation mid-term: Pro-rata refund for unused months (minimum one month notice required)
Transport fee is non-refundable: If the service was availed for any part of the month
- 4.4 Activity Fee / Event Fee
Before activity/event: Full refund (minus administrative charges if applicable)
After activity/event commencement: No refund
- 4.5 Caution Money / Security Deposit
Status: FULLY REFUNDABLE at the time of student's withdrawal from school, subject to:
No outstanding dues against the student
Return of school property in good condition (library books etc.)
Submission of written application for withdrawal
Completion of all formalities
Refund of caution money will be processed within 45-60 days from the date of application.
- 5. Refund Process
- 5.1 How to Apply for Refund
To request a refund, please:
Submit a written application to the Principal's office stating the reason for withdrawal/refund
Provide supporting documents (if applicable, such as transfer certificate, medical certificate, etc.)
Complete the school leaving formalities
Provide bank details for electronic transfer (Account holder name, Account number, IFSC code, Bank name and branch)
- 5.2 Refund Timeline
Tuition fee refunds: Processed within 30 working days from the date of approval
Caution money refund: Processed within 45-60 days
Other fee refunds: Processed within 15-20 working days
- 5.3 Mode of Refund
All refunds will be made through:
UPI (PhonePe/Google Pay etc), OR
Electronic bank transfer (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS) to the parent's bank account, OR
Account payee cheque in favor of the parent/guardian
Refunds will NOT be made in cash under any circumstances.
- 6. Exceptions
The following situations may be considered for special refund consideration:
Medical Grounds: If a student is unable to continue studies due to serious illness or medical condition (supported by medical certificates), pro-rata refund may be considered.
Family Relocation: If the family relocates to another city (with proof), refund may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
School Discontinuation of Service: If the school discontinues a particular service or program, full refund for the unutilized portion will be provided.
Death of Student: Full refund of all fees (except admission fee) for the remaining academic year will be provided.
- 7. Non-Refundable Charges
The following are non-refundable under any circumstances:
Admission fee / Registration fee
Annual charges (if already utilized for the year)
Examination fee (if exams have been conducted)
Uniform fee (if uniform has been issued)
Book fee (if books have been issued)
Any fee paid for specific events or activities that have already occurred
Late fee or penalty charges
- 8. Cancellation by School
In the rare event that Sanskar International School cancels a student's admission or discontinues a service:
Full refund of all fees paid for the unutilized period will be provided
Caution money will be refunded in full
No penalty or deduction will be applied
- 9. Important Notes
All refund requests must be made in writing; verbal requests will not be entertained.
The decision of the School Management regarding refunds shall be final and binding.
Refunds will be processed only after clearance of all dues.
The school reserves the right to adjust any outstanding dues against the refund amount.

By paying fees to Sanskar International School, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Refund and Cancellation Policy.
